Good morning all! Happy Labour Day Weekend!!
I hope everyone’s having a fabulous weekend!
My kids start back to school tomorrow. My daughter is a 2nd year college student studying to be an RN. Oldest son is heading into grade 11 and youngest boy is heading into grade 8. Where does the time go? I’m so not ready for this!
Okay, so what’s ahead?

Movie Mention this week – We watched The Hobbit: Battle of the 5 Armies. Good movie. The fight scenes always seem soooo long to me, but good movies.
That’s all for now! We’re having a special dinner here tonight so I have to get cutting veggies and marinating meat!!
Have a super week!!
Good morning all! Happy Monday!
Can you believe September arrives tomorrow!!?? I’m not ready to think about really cold temperatures or that dreaded S word that makes everything white. I’m just not ready.
It’s been a manic week. My kids start back to school a week from tomorrow and the last minute check list is done and everything is organized. I have a feeling we’ve missed something though and the first day back will be when we realize we have.
Thanks to being sick over this past weekend, things are crazy for today. Lots of things to catch up on. And this week is nuts as my Son #1 heads back to full length football practices and he’s also on the leadership team so I will be Chauffeur Mom quite a bit this week. But I’m so proud of him for being on the leadership team, helping those new kids coming into grade 9 and helping them through the first few months of high school.
Okay, so what’s ahead?
Book News this week — The WIP is shaping up very nicely. Almost finished!! I’m looking forward to writing The End on this one. I have a wolf shifter I want to write next!!
My Latest Release: FIGHTING FOR HONOR released last week and it’s doing well on Amazon etc. I was thrilled find out yesterday that it was a STAFF PICK from Lori at All Romance Ebooks, and has received a Silver Star as well, for a bestselling status. I’m pretty thrilled about it, and love that my first shifter is being received so well!! Here it is at aRe … with a pretty staff pick logo & the silver star *g* — HERE
Movie Mention this week – While I was sick over the weekend, I did a marathon with the ROCKY movies. Not # 6 — Sylvester should never have made that one — but the first 5 were awesome to watch all over again. Brought back memories of my Dad as well, they were some of his fave movies.
Reading Mention this week – I have to recommend WHAT LOLA WANTS by JoAnne Kenrick. I read it through many stages of the process, JoAnne did many editions/revisions of the story and it released this past week. It’s a fabulous and fun story that warms the heart. Be sure to check it out — HERE.
That’s all for now! Have a super week!!
A love that cannot be denied…
Rock star Sammy West has one last opportunity to make things right with Bree Elise, the woman who had packed up her bass guitar and walked out on him. He never stopped loving her and thought he’d never see her again until a contest essay leads Sammy to Bree. When he shows up to present the winning guitar, Bree is forced to face a painful past and reveal a secret she’d buried many years ago. With hurt on both sides, unless they learn to forgive they’ll never be able to recapture the deep love they once shared.
When Sammy slid into the seat, he had to contain himself. Years of searching and worrying; gut-wrenching anger and despair; living half a life without her, every day wondering why she’d disappeared. Why she’d left him. Now she was only inches away, close enough to pull her fragrance into his lungs, to breathe her. He inhaled deeply; the musky aroma was subtle, yet powerful. The same intoxicating scent he remembered from long ago. Drawing him in. Making him dizzy, crazy with want.
