Feature Friday ~ His to Punish by Doris O’Connor #TheCleaners #ERom #BDSM @MamaD8 @EvernightPUb

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today with my new release His to Punish, book two of my dark romance series The Cleaners. This is the story of Ren’s second in command Ty Mason. Ever since I wrote Book one in the series, His Prize, I’ve
been itching to tell Ty’s story.

Ty seemed much softer than Ren, when we first get to know him, and to an extent that is
certainly true. Ty though, like all of the cleaners to be fair, has many layers. He’s just as deadly as Ren; ruthlessly protective of those he cares about and deeply loyal.

I had great fun unravelling the truth behind who is Ty Mason, and there were a few surprises in store, I tell you. Subsequently this story is much longer than the first
book in this series. It has many twists and turns as my too-feisty-for-her-own-good
heroine goes looking for revenge… Which places Ty in somewhat of a dilemma.

Ren is like a brother to him, and he will do anything to protect his family, but what is he
to do when the one woman who gets under his skin seems determined to threaten
that family.
Well, you’ll have to read the book to find out what happens, I’m afraid. 🙂

Blurb:

Revenge or love…either choice will sacrifice her freedom.

Dance teacher Jeanette MacArthur has one thing on her mind when she auditions for a job at La Masquerade—revenge. Shecouldn’t protect her sister from the criminals she now seeks employment with, but she can ensure that justice prevails.

If only her body wouldn’t melt at the touch of one of them. Ty Mason, second-hand man of the Cleaners, oozes dominance, aggression, and danger. He stands for everything she ought to despise, yet this unwanted attraction threatens to ruin her.

Ty can’t take his eyes off the new dancer, not least because he senses the threat she represents. Only one thing for it—claim her for his own, and torture the secrets out of her—if need be.  Her unwilling submission, however, means he discovers more than her secrets. His heart and their future are on the line.
Be Warned: BDSM, forced seduction, rimming, spanking, sex toys

18 + Excerpt:

Ty’s hands went to his belt, and she jumped when he spoke again.
“I said strip, girl, now.”
Jeanette complied with shaking hands, and another one of these deep, dark growls rumbled from Ty’s chest, when she stood before him naked. Try as she might she couldn’t bring  herself to look at him, had to fight the insane urge to sink to her knees, in fact. Lord only knew what was happening to her. She was losing the plot, because she could swear she could feel Ty’s intense gaze like a physical touch, as he ran it over her naked body.
She jumped again when he cracked the belt through the air like a whip, the resulting snap far too loud in the quiet room. He stepped around her, running one finger along her skin.
From the tip of her nose, around her mouth, down her neck, and along her collarbone into the valley between her breasts, he continued the silent exploration, the contrast of his much paler flesh next to hers a heady aphrodisiac indeed. When he cupped one of her breasts in his hand and lifting it, bent his head to suck her hard nipple into his mouth, Jeanette couldn’t stop her whimper of need. Unbidden her hands tangled in his hair, to keep him there, as every hard suck made her pussy quiver in need. She could smell her
own arousal in the air, as her juices slowly trickled down the inside of her thighs.
Ty bit down hard on the breast in his mouth, and the sharp pain of his bite made Jeanette cry out. Not in pain exactly, because she was far too turned on and already teetering on the
edge of an orgasm.
“Please…”
Ty soothed the leftover ache from his bite by licking it, before he abruptly withdrew.
“I haven’t given you permission to touch me, girl.” He reached up to grasp her wrist, and Jeanette immediately let go of his hair. She caught a glimpse of his stern expression before he swung her around.
“Face the wall, and spread your legs, girl.”
It didn’t even occur to her to disobey, and when he joined her moments later his clean male musk enveloped her.  He crowded her against that wall, the coolness of it against her skin a direct contrast against the heated male body pressing against her from behind. The feel of his chest hair against her back made her hyperaware of his harsh breathing. She closed her eyes against her shame, when he reached around and between her legs. There was nowhere to hide now, as confirmed by his next words.
“So fucking wet for me. You’re mine now, girl.”
A bite to her shoulder followed that possessive claim, and Jeanette cried out in surprise when he shoved two fingers into her pussy at the same time. Wet as she was they slid right in, and her internal muscles clamped down on the invaders. Ty thrust those digits in and out of her channel and adding another one, finger-fucked her with merciless precision. His cock was a hard, solid ridge against her hip,and he groaned into her neck again, when she spread her legs wider for him.
“Yeah, that’s it, baby, your body knows who you belong to, doesn’t it?”
Jeanette tried to respond, but nothing but a keening sound came out, because Ty curled his fingers to massage her G-spot. Pleasure surged through her hard and fast, and her hips
took on a life of their own as she rocked herself against his hand, desperate to gain the friction she needed to her clit to get over.
Before she could get there, however, Ty withdrew his fingers, and slapped her ass hard. Jeanette moaned her denial and shoved her ass back into him in a silent bid for him to continue, but she should have known that was a useless exercise.
“No, your orgasms belong to me now, and you will not come without my permission.
One hand fisted in her hair, he pulled her away from the wall and marched her across to the cross. Jeanette’s heart missed a few beats, and then turned into a jackhammer when she
caught side of their reflection in the mirror on the wall.
She looked like she felt, a woman on the edge. Her eyes were too wide, her mouth, still swollen from his earlier kisses slightly open, her breasts swaying from side to side, and
shaking with every harsh breath she managed to draw into her lungs, as he half dragged her along. Her skin already showed the marks of his possession, his bite marks clearly visible, and she groaned when his arm came round her waist, and he kicked her legs apart. It meant her swollen most intimate parts were clearly visible.Jeanette ought to be ashamed at how wet she was, at the needy sounds that immediately spilled from her lips, when Ty yanked her head back further, and rubbed his jaw along her neck. His breath singed her skin, and
their gazes locked. His dark eyes flashed with dangerous intent, and Jeanette’s internal muscles clenched in response, sending more moisture to her swollen lips.  Ty smiled when he noticed, and his voice dropped even further, sending yet more shivers of dread, or was it
anticipation, down her spine. Her clit quivered, the usually tiny bud clearly visible at the top of her hood.
“Take a good look, titch. Your body doesn’t lie. You want this, need it, even, and I’m just the man to give you what you need. All you have to do is ask.”

Feature Friday ~ 5 Questions with Author Maia Dylan #MM #DarkRom #Books #NewRelease @Maiadylanauthor

Thank you, for hosting me for my latest release, Abducted for Life.

This stand alone Novella available with Evernight Publishing.

Abducted-for-Life-evernightpublishing-jayAheer2016-banner2

Five questions for the author

Q: Where did your inspiration come from for this novella?

A:  Evernight asked for submissions for their Dark Anthology, and I submitted this book for it.  I found out I am not so good at writing the darkness into my characters, there is too much humor and love for it to be dark, but I loved Liam an Scott and am grateful that their story has been told.

Q:  Sometimes things happen when you are writing a series that wasn’t expected at all.  Have you had this happen to you?

A:  Heaps!  I am not a planner.  I am a write-by-the-set-of-your-panties kinda girl.  There have been moments where I will finish up a scene and be like WTF?  I did not see that coming!  This whole series started with an image I found that I simply couldn’t let go of.

Q: Why do you always include a danger element to your books?

A: I write what I love to read. I love books that take you on a journey, but where the characters face a challenge that adds an element of urgency to them and to the book.  As a reader, there is nothing I like more than getting that goose bump, hair rising on the back of my neck feeling as I join the characters within the book I am reading on the journey to solve their mystery.  I want to give that to my readers.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am about to sub my second book in my Sniper Team Bravo series, and have started a new stand alone for a menage box set coming later in the year. I have decided that I have too many stories and need to try and grow another pair of hands to type with!

Q: Do you have anything to say to your current readers or to those that haven’t yet read you work?

A: If you have read any of my books, thank you so very much! It blows my mind that someone has actually read something that I wrote, but gosh I hope you enjoyed it!  Did you?  Please let me know, I find I suffer from a slight case of needy-nelly with my writing.  If you haven’t read my book, but you love erotic romance stories between strong men and an independent woman, where the path to their happily ever after can be a bumpy one, but there is always a happily ever after, and their love and laugher is real on every page, then you’ll find my books right up your alley!

The story…

TEASER:

“You’re bleeding.” The man sounded pissed off as if the fact that Scott was bleeding was somehow his own fault and a complete inconvenience. “Damn it, let me see them.”

Scott scrambled back on the bed, pushing into the wall. “Get the hell away from me!”

The man sighed and moved toward the wall. Light exploded within the room, and Scott lifted his hand to shield his eyes. “You’re really not in any position to make demands, Scott. Not with me.”

Scott froze against the wall, blinking rapidly to get his eyes accustomed to the light. “How do you know my name? Who are you and what the hell do you want with me?”

“There’s not a whole hell of a lot I don’t know about you, Scott,” the man answered dryly.

Scott dropped his hand and looked up at his captor. In any other circumstance, the man before him would have captured his attention. He was exactly the sort of man that Scott liked and fantasized about. He was tall, at least six foot four, and built like he knew his way around a gym and worked his way around one every chance he got. He had wavy black hair, short on the sides but longer on top, a square jaw with a day’s stubble, and blue eyes that had Scott’s heart stuttering within his chest. Did he know those eyes? Shaking his head and blaming it on the knock to his head, Scott put that thought aside and concentrated on what the man was saying.

“I know you are Scott Theodore Majors, you’re an ER nurse at St Luke’s, and you’ve just finished your shifts for the week. You’re not rostered on for the next four days.”

Scott started to tremble. From his medical training, he knew that shock was starting to set in.

Scott’s mind whirled. “I have a boyfriend, and he’s expecting me home. He would have called the police by now.” The man’s eyes narrowed, and Scott thought he might have just made a critical error.

“Did I not just finish telling you that there isn’t a lot I don’t know about you, Scott?” He whirled away and walked to a door Scott hadn’t noticed before. He opened it and switched the light on. “We are currently in the basement of my house, on my property in the middle of nowhere. My nearest neighbors are more than fifteen miles away, and no one comes to visit. There are no windows in this room, or in the bathroom through that door. The only way out is the way we just came. If you simply stay put and do what I tell you to do, then you will be comfortable. However, if you try to escape, I will move up my schedule and that will not go well for you.”

Scott’s stomach dropped. “Why?” he asked hoarsely, still none the wiser.

The man sighed, and sadness filled his eyes. “Sometimes, it’s the children that must pay for the sins of the father. That’s simply the way life goes.”

As the only senior graphic designer at Downey Handbags, Zane Kotsky expected to become the head of the creative art department when the company planned to expand its business. His hope crashed when it turned out that the company wanted someone from outside to be the manager. Knowing that, Zane planned to leave the place at once, but that was before he met the man who would become his boss, Joachim Wessling.

This is a previously published work. It has been revised and edited for Evernight Publishing.

Excerpt

“Downey must be very lucky to have you.”

The kid—because that was what he was to Joachim, a kid—stared at him a bit too long.

“Watch the road.”

Zane snickered, and switched his attention back to the traffic ahead. “Lucky. Yeah, I’d call it lucky they decided not to kick me out after denying me what should have been mine by right.”

Joachim hadn’t expected to hear those words. “I’m sorry. I don’t have any idea what you’re talking about.”

Zane sucked in a harsh breath.

“God, I’m sorry. That was totally uncalled for. Forget what I said, okay? And enjoy your stay here. People at Downey are the best, or I wouldn’t have lasted this long.”

Joachim frowned. Honestly, he didn’t know this would be the case. When they’d invited him to join the company, there was no talk that someone else might be qualified to be the head of the art department. In fact, he was under the impression that there hadn’t been an art department before, only a small division under a larger unit.

“You know, I can always talk to Mr. Downey and set things straight.” Joachim had never before seen an expression change from slight panic to utter horror.

“No,” Zane practically shouted. “You can’t tell him that. You have to promise you’ll never talk to Mr. Downey about the things I said. I’ll be happy to work under you. Work together with you. It was just a spur-of-the-moment outburst. Promise me, please?”

Joachim tried to think past the words work under you, and Zane’s pleas didn’t help the matter. He took a deep breath and gazed ahead.

“Okay, I promise not to say anything, though I’d prefer it if we’re all open and honest and don’t hide things from each other.”

“I’ve been open and honest with you.”

“Yeah, and I bet you regret it.”

Feature Friday ~ One…and Done by Allyson Young #ERom #Contemp #Ebook @allysonyoung45 @evernightpub

Blurb:

When I met Drew at that damn wedding our chemistry was off the charts. All he could offer was the weekend, but uncharacteristically, I jumped at it. When he slipped away like a thief in the night I was blindsided by loss, even knowing people don’t fall in love at first sight! He left me a lifelong reminder though, one to make its appearance in about seven months. Too bad he’d never know…
She was always on my mind, and I couldn’t afford the distraction in this forsaken country where one false move could mean my death. My sniper training dissolved when I thought
about Katie and our time together. I was a one and done kind of guy, but this time it was different. I’d be stateside in a few months and offer the apology she deserved. Maybe she’d forgive me, if there wasn’t another man in her life…

Excerpt-
The equally pale piece of paper took shape against the quartz countertop when I set the cup down. My breath shortened and something central in my chest tightened.
Fingers creeping across the smooth surface, I inched the note closer. Block
printing in a heavy, masculine hand delivered the message with utter clarity.

Katie-
Got the call. Deployed sooner than expected. Stole a kiss goodbye. I’ll
treasure our time together.
Drew
My hand drifted up to touch my lips. They trembled and I pressed them firm,
sucking in a lungful of air through my nose. I was such a treasure that people
abandoned me. A mirthless laugh escaped past my hand and I swiftly catalogued
the situation, regaining control. Attended a wedding and met a hot guy. Fucked
said guy. So what? Lots of women hooked up, nothing surprising. Had great sex.
No harm, no foul. After all, he’d set the parameters upfront. One … and done.
Picking the note up by a corner, I carried it over to the trash and dropped it in, then poured the remaining coffee down the sink. Best not to think about all the
confidences shared during the recovery times, or the laughter and easy banter. The way I thought we’d connected past the fucking. Sex didn’t have to make things awkward, right? And now, if I felt like yesterday’s bread, well, I’d done it to myself. And my name was Kate.
Checking the time, I hurried to pull out some clothes suitable for brunch. My
girlfriends met in half an hour and I had no reason to miss it today. No need to mention how I’d filled the better part of the weekend either. I yanked the bedding off the mattress and wadded it up, jamming the linens into the hamper. My housekeeper would take care of the rest.
Adding a spritz of citrus, I smoothed the sundress over my thighs, then grabbed my purse. Moving on.

Excerpt:
Theo obviously liked how I looked. He’d enjoyed an eyeful of my bra-less chest and he’d also taken a sudden interest in my lips. I licked the lingering droplet of wine off the upper while lowering my glass. Time to get things moving. “So.”

He lifted his gaze, brow quirked. “So.”

“Why’d you agree to come over tonight?”

Theo’s sexy smirk sent flutters through my stomach. “I enjoy making you laugh. Helping you remember there’s life outside of your life’s goal.”

“Is that all?”

He nodded and tipped up his glass, not taking the time to savor the dry, oaken flavor.
My entire body tingled with the thought success was in reach. “Why didn’t you sit over here with me?”

Theo peered at me with his dark eyes. Fathomless and unreadable. “Because you’re on a mission.”

For the second time since he’d arrived, laughter bubbled from me. “I am.”

“And according to you, you always succeed.”

“I do.”

He studied the wine while swirling it in the glass. “I sat over here to thwart your plans.”

I narrowed my eyes as I studied his face. “Why?”

“You don’t need any distractions right now.”

Spine stiffening, I lifted my chin. “Or perhaps that’s exactly what I need right now.”
“Not my kind of distraction.”

His gaze latched onto me, and finally—finally—heat I’d dreamed of simmered in his stare. I fought the strange desire to lower my eyes. “I never back down. Ever.”

His coy smirk sent a rush of moisture straight south to slick my panties. “You should.”

“Oh?” I allowed my smile to grow and rubbed a fingertip along my shirt’s drooping neckline. His attention swung downward. “And why’s that?”

“You’re messing with fire.” He lifted his gaze and scorched me with the lust in his black eyes.

Fire? Oh yeah. My body ignited, and burning need swelled between my thighs and settled into my clit. I got up and set my wine glass on the coffee table while moving around it—all without breaking eye contact. Focused on his face, I peered down at him from between his legs. “I can handle a little heat.”

Feature Friday ~ Deep Dream by Elodie Parks #ERom #Vampire #Ebook @ElodieParkes

Thank you for inviting me to your blog today to celebrate my new release with Hot Ink Press, erotic paranormal romance, ‘Deep Dream.’

This story concept was originally formed for a proposed series. Now it has been completed revised, lengthened, and re-edited for Hot Ink Press.

Essentially a vampire erotic romance, it also has threads of magic, and taking place in New Orleans, it’s set in a music club/rock club, the mysterious StarZ.

Ethan Ross, the vampire hero, has been in New Orleans since his girlfriend and sire, dumped him in 1922. He’s used to the weird undercurrents of the city and now works in StarZ that caters to the supernatural folks. His band, Deep Dream, play there. He’s tasked with taking care of the ‘ordinary humans’ that arrive in the club and he does this happily …

With a broken heart to heal Ethan swore off love long ago … that is until starry eyed Anna Prideaux wanders into his life.
Then sparks start to fly

Read an excerpt

She watched him disappear into the gloom. Anna stood and scooped her phone from the counter. She glanced around to check who might be watching her. When it looked like no
one was, she quickly followed Marcus. She quickened her pace as she lost sight of him in the swirling mist at the back of the club’s main room. Marcus disappeared.

When she reached where she’d last seen him a shiver spiked up her back. The mist was freezing cold, the air thick with potent. Anna turned away as a weird fear gripped her. She practically ran back to the bar, weaving through the groups of patrons, and muttering, “Sorry,” as she knocked into one, splashed the drink from the glass of another, until she stood in front of Ethan.

His gaze mesmerized her. She wasn’t even sure she actually heard his voice, but somehow he soothed her.

“Anna, it’s time you went home now. You want to go home. You have work to do transcribing the interview with the band. Everything’s fine.”

She smiled at him. “I’m off now. Thank you for answering my questions. Thank Marcus for me. He left.” She gestured toward where she’d run from. A flutter of fear rose in her stomach and then Ethan was leaning forward, his blue eyes capturing her so that she dreamily froze to soak up his low voiced words.

“Goodnight, Anna.”

About Elodie
I’m a writer who is in love with happy endings. Currently based in the UK but thinking about joining the next flock of birds I see heading south for the winter. I love: music, art, flowers, trees, the ocean…  I work with antiques by day and words by night. Like a vampire, darkness is my friend, that’s when the silence is only broken by an occasional hoot of owls in the woodlands opposite my current home, and I write.
