MGMondays

Good morning. It’s Meet and Greet Monday!

With us today is Romance Author, Lisa Fox.

Welcome, Lisa!

Thanks so much for having me over, Kacey! It’s great to be here!

Tell us a bit about yourself. Where do you live, do you have a significant other, any young foxes running around?
There really isn’t much to tell. I live a very quiet life that I like very, very much.

What do you like to do for fun and relax?
I like to kill things on my PlayStation while going on missions to save the world. I find it very relaxing.

What five items do you take everywhere with you – besides cell phone, keys and purse/wallet?
If you’d asked me that three years ago, I would have said cigarettes. I quit though, so I don’t carry those anymore.  I don’t really carry much of anything around. I hate purses. If it can’t fit in my pockets, it’s probably not coming with me. I really don’t even like carrying the phone around and I often don’t. So, keys, money, ID – that’s all I really need in life.

If we were to come over to your house for dinner, what specialty would you make us?
Ha! Your choice of a wonderful array of delivery options. I don’t cook, but I’ll make sure the wine is a perfect pairing for whatever we choose to order.

What is your favorite TV Show?
I haven’t watched TV in a long time, so my favorite show remains and always will be the X-Files.

Who do you think is hotter – Wolverine or Iron Man?
That is not a fair question! How am I supposed to choose between those two?

What publishers can we find your stories at?
The fabulous Ellora’s Cave!

No matter the story, where do you always draw inspiration from when you begin each story?
I guess I always draw inspiration from my own life experiences. People I’ve met, places I’ve been, things I’ve seen or overheard.

Did you always want to be an author?
Always. Since birth.

What book – print or e-book – is sitting on top of your to be read pile that you are eager to read?
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. I’ve read Gone, Girl and Dark Places and LOVED them. I can’t wait to tear into Sharp Objects.

A Note from Lisa:
Every time I write a new hero, I fall in love with him a little bit. Only a little bit because none of these men are really meant for me, they are not my dream lover or mate or demi-god, but they all have a very special place in my heart.

Trask, the lust demon hero of A Matter of Lust is no exception. When I think of Trask, of his style, his voice, his vibe, I think of things like warm honey in spicy tea, black fur-lined blindfolds, the scalding pleasure of sinking into a steaming hot tub. He is opulent and indulgent, but he is also driven and needy and ultra-intense. Too intense for my taste honestly, but his heroine, Rena, seems to like it a lot.

Trask was tremendously fun to write. I guess I do have a bit of a weakness for bad boys. His very single-minded nature makes him a hunter, a predator with an erotic edge, a bad boy with style. He is dangerous, he is a demon after all, but then lust itself is dangerous. Dangerous and exciting and overwhelming, but not all bad and often very, very fun.

I hope that you fall a little bit in love with Trask too.

amatteroflust_msrBlurb:
Trask is a lust demon on the hunt for a playmate, a human exceptional enough to sate some of his ravenous hunger. When he finds Rena, he knows she’s the one. He makes it his business to seduce her.

Rena could easily fall for the dangerously sexy bad boy who makes her scream through every orgasm, but the problem with bad boys is that they really are bad. They break hearts, and Rena’s has been broken too many times already.

What’s a demon to do when lust isn’t enough? To claim Rena for his own, Trask will have to earn her trust.
