What can I tell you about my hero, Michael Harmon?
Well, he’s from LAYOVER, my recent release – which you’ll find in the Hot Summer Nights Box Set.
Michael is a pilot who flights his wealthy boss anywhere he’s told to. Michael’s had a pretty easy life – great family, set his mind to becoming a pilot and found his dream coming true. I’m thankful for his strong family foundation. He was encouraged often to follow his heart.
He’s a charming, sinful talking and sexy guy who loves hard when he finds the right woman. I’m blessed they did since it’s how he meets our heroine, Gemma. From afar, Michael has watched her, admired her and craved her. But he respected her steadfast rule of not dating coworkers. Though a struggle to resist her, Michael’s strong will and discipline allowed him to step back and give her the space she needed.
It’s a man like this that I admire so it was a delight in telling his (their) story. Michael finds they have a lot more in common than he thought. Her infatuation with marine life opens his eyes to things he didn’t know and he learns under her tutelage.
I just adore Michael. He’s really a simple man with a huge heart and desire to live a happy ever after. I love a broken and angsty hero as much as any reader, but sometimes it’s a kind-hearted man who wants a great love that captures my heart just the same.
