Today’s 7 comes from, Fighting for Honor, the first in my Okanogan Valley Pride series.

Here, Dominic & Honor (a black panther & a Siberian tiger) are trying to get through the pain of losing one another for so many years.  Dominic returned to Okanogan Valley to claim his rightful spot as Alpha, and he also want’s his mate back as well…

He was unable to resist her sitting beside him. Her long red skirt folded up in her lap and her white cotton top with a low neckline offered him a tease he wanted access to. He latched onto both her biceps and hauled her onto his lap.

Cupping her cheeks, he drew her face down to his and claimed her mouth. Hard and

unrelenting, his tongue worked its way into her mouth, familiarizing itself once again.

She lifted her arms, encircling his neck and gave herself over to him. The intoxicating sweetness that was all hers filled his mouth, tangy and delicious. It calmed his heart and wrapped around his soul.

Only Honor had the power to take over his body and make him forget his own name.

Lifting her head, she gazed down at him as she pushed him backward on the grass. “Tell me you’ve come back here for me too, Dominic. Tell me you love me if you do.”

“Always. All I ever wanted was to get back to you…. There was too much pain….” He sighed, unsure of how to explain himself. “Losing father nearly broke me. I’m ashamed I turned away from the pride as long as I did. That need inside me—my panther needed the solitude. I became angry and hungry for power. I found it in some dangerous ways, but I guess I did the best I could. I never stopped wanting you though. I’ve wanted to claim you as mine for years. It drove me to come back to you a better man. I’ll never leave you again. You’re mine, Honor. Forever.”

A purr-like rumble erupted from her throat, the sound reaching his dick and it jerked behind his jeans. Damn if that wasn’t the sexiest sound.
