- The heroine is named after one of my readers. Liz and I met years ago through a Facebook party. She’s been a loyal reader and we’re now great friends. The heroine’s last name has a family connection and she named one of the villains too. The friends I’ve met on this author journey are the single BEST thing to happen to me. Friends Rock!
- Aidan and Liz. They make me swoon. Also, they could have met a dozen different times in their life, similar to me and my husband, but they met when the timing was just right.
- Unexpected Destiny is my longest story to date. Always thought my best stories wouldn’t go much past 100 pages, but this one comes in at 150. I never wanted to write longer and then have a sagging middle. This story certainly doesn’t. Can you tell I’m proud of this one?
- When I started this series, I had no idea I was writing romantic suspense. Yes, I knew I was writing about assassins, but the suspense came very naturally to the stories. It’s been a lot of fun.

He ran upstairs and kept moving until he reached his door. Respect for Elizabeth filled him. She’d faced a lot in the last year and she still held her shit together. Little did she know she was trading a husband who probably abandoned her, or worse, for a night with an assassin.

He pressed his ear to his door and listened while his heartbeat calmed.
Silence.
Too much silence.
