Her mentor, Nadia Gorlando, has every faith in her.

Excerpt:

Nadia Gorlando and I had just gotten off the exercise bikes in the gym when one of the academy’s coaches, Peter Ross, headed over to us, all smiles.

“Hey, Nadia,” he said, his all-American grin widening and his blond hair flopping down over his forehead, “I need a huge favor.”

I flicked my gaze to Nadia. She raised one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows and waited for him to continue. He did.

“I totally lost track of time just now and I have an appointment with Travis Connolly. Would you mind wiping down my machine for me? Or maybe stick a note on it saying it’s out of order? I don’t want to leave it all sweaty for someone else. You’ll be doing me a real solid. I’ll owe you.”

My jaw almost hit the floor.

Now Nadia rolled her eyes, looked over at the offending machine, then back at Peter. “Sure, I understand,” she said, as cool as ice. “The world’s number one can’t wait. Go right ahead—I’ll fix it for you.”

He babbled a load of thanks, then jogged out of the gym.

I gaped at her. “You’re not going to do it, are you?”

Nadia chuckled. “Of course not. He may be coaching Travis Connolly and Rufus Lampani for the US Open, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to clean up his mess.” She pointed with her chin over to the machine Peter had just vacated. “Come on, V, I’ll show you how I’m going to deal with this.”

I followed her, grinning. Her tone told me that it was going to be something fun. Well, for us, anyway. Probably not for Peter.

Sure enough, when she returned from the room off the side of the gym, she had a pad of paper and a pen in her hands. Deliberately shielding the pad from my view, she wrote something down, then pulled off the top sheet. Folding it, she then propped it on the sweat-slicked seat so the writing was on view to anyone who happened past.

When I’d read and absorbed the words, I turned to Nadia, impressed. Her smile lit up her face, showing dimples in each cheek, and her brown eyes gleamed with amusement.

It was in that moment that I decided I had the serious hots for Nadia Gorlando.

The sign read,

PLEASE EXCUSE THE STATE OF THIS MACHINE. PETER ROSS, TENNIS COACH SUPREMO, “LOST TRACK OF TIME”.

Spotlight ~ The Sea Wife by Naomi Clark #selkie #romance #lesbian #RoTG @naomi_jay @EvernightPub

TheSeaWife-EvernightPublishing-JayAheer2015-banner2
I wrote the very first draft of THE SEA WIFE way back in my university days – ten or so years ago now! I wrote a story then for a critique group about a doctor who finds a woman on the beach claiming to be a selkie. I left it pretty open-ended as to whether she really was, and the story was okay-ish received by the group. I liked it, but it was not a story to “do” anything with except make up part of my coursework.

Still, the selkie thing stuck with me and last year I attempted to re-write it, figuring that ten years on, I could put a different spin on it, that my writing skills would hopefully have improved over the past decade, and that I could make this a story to “do” something with.

But still, this story was knocking at my brain. I re-read it and realised I got bored of it because the plot I was developing was very similar to that of THE BEAST OF BIRCH HILL, and I think one should only write so many stories where “regular human meets shapeshifter, romance ensues.” I decided if I was going to write THE SEA WIFE, I still needed to find that different spin. And now I think I have. I hope you all like it!

Blurb
Charley and Nessa are from two different worlds. Nessa is a selkie and Charley is all too human. When selkies and humans fall in love, tragedy can follow. For Charley and Nessa, that never seems to matter when they’re together. But when Nessa’s seal skin is stolen, the lovers uncover all the reasons humans and selkies should stay in their separate worlds.

Excerpt

Frantic barking jerked Charley awake. She lifted her head, blinking sleepily, and found Nessa dozing next to her, one arm thrown over her face, the other draped across Charley’s hip. Charley shifted her arm gently and sat up. Pale sunlight streamed into the cave mouth, sparkling off the water filling the cave. A sudden, choking anxiety gripped Charley and she shook Nessa less gently.
“Nessa, where’s your skin?”
Nessa peered at her from between her fingers, looking confused. “Down where I left it.”
“The tide came in.”
Nessa sat up and stretched. “It’ll just be under the water, Charley.” She slipped off the ledge, splashing gracefully into the waist-deep water. She ducked under and disappeared for a few minutes. Charley held her breath, counting the beats until Nessa resurfaced.
Nessa broke the water with a gasp, flinging herself up in an icy spray, wet hair flinging droplets clear across the cave. It was a panicked motion and Charley felt an answering panic flare in her. “It’s gone!”
Charley scrambled down from the ledge with much less grace, hitting the water hard and sending a wave crashing over her own head. She spat out a mouthful of salty water and grabbed Nessa. Nessa flailed in the water, kicking up sand and stone as if she’d unveil her seal skin. Her liquid brown eyes were wide and wild. “It’s gone! Charley, it’s gone!”
“Well, it can’t have gone far,” Charley said, trying to keep her voice level and light. “Let’s just -”
The dog barked outside the cave again, high-pitched and over-excited. A boy shouted, telling the dog to hush and back off. A spark of anguish lit Nessa’s eyes and she pulled free of Charley, racing to the cave mouth. Charley followed instinctively, ignoring flashes of pain in her feet as she cut them on jutting rocks. Nessa was already over the barrier at the cave mouth, almost throwing herself over them. Charley slipped and skidded as she followed, cracking her knee as she stumbled onto the beach.

Playlist from Blood Witch by Naomi Clark #FF #UF #Suspense @Naomi_Jay @EvernightPub

I don’t often listen to music when I’m writing – mostly because I do a lot of my writing in my work place, and apparently a hospital food court is not the ideal location for blasting music in. But one thing I always do for my characters and books is set up a playlist on Spotify for songs that remind me of them. I listen to those lists on my commute to work, and it gets me in the right frame of mind for writing. A particular lyric will trigger something – a scene, an emotion, a bit of dialogue – that I just know will be perfect for a story. It’s become an almost ritualistic part of my writing process.

I’m actually still working on the playlist for Lola and BLOOD WITCH, but there are a few songs I’ve already picked out as being crucial for the mood of Lola’s world. Want to check them out?

Laura Marling – Devil’s Resting Place – I love Laura Marling, but this song struck a particular chord, more for the mood it evokes than the song itself. It’s dark and mysterious and hints at danger.

The Misfits – Great Balls of Fire – The Misfits are one of my all-time favourite bands and this is one of my all-time favourite covers. I think it pretty neatly encapsulates the impact Tristesse has on Lola!

Holly Golightly – Devil Do – It’s not a spoiler to say that devils and demons play a part in BLOOD WITCH. For that reason alone, this song has earned a place on the playlist.

AFI – Miss Murder – Look, if I ever leave AFI off a playlist, just assume I’ve been kidnapped by aliens and replaced by a pod person. I love AFI, and I never write a story without at least one of their songs in my mind. Miss Murder is the unofficial theme song for BLOOD WITCH.

Blurb
Lola Guntram is used to being an outcast. She’s the only blood witch in Fort Rosser, BloodWitch-evernightpulishing-jayaheer2015-finalimagemistrusted by other witches and happier working solo. But when her dark practices make her the prime suspect in a brutal murder investigation, she’s forced to turn to others for help. Not that she has many allies – her ex-girlfriend thinks Lola is the killer, and the local coven leader thinks Lola will corrupt them all if she gets too close.

Help comes in an expected – and alluring – form. Tristesse is a demon on the run, beautiful, enigmatic, and suspiciously keen to assist Lola while she chases down the real killer. How can Lola refuse? With the police breathing down her neck, accusations flying, and inhuman monsters on the streets, Lola needs all the help she can get. The killer is angry, desperate, and determined. But so is Lola Guntram. And she doesn’t care how dark or bloody the magic has to get – she’s going to stop them.

Excerpt:

Once home, she returned to her books. Now she had a definite symbol to look for, she was able to narrow down the search of her considerable library. In a battered tome called Symbols, Sigils, Signs and Seals, she finally found it. She barely remembered buying the book; most likely she’d picked it up secondhand somewhere, mentally added it to her “to-read” pile and forgotten about it. She’d always bought far more books than she’d ever get round to reading.
Still, there it was in plain black ink on the yellowed page. The same sigil she’d seen on Isako’s floor. It wasn’t alchemical, as she’d first thought, although it shared the typical sparse lines and deceptive simplicity. The language of alchemy was really just a form of shorthand, indicating herbs, liquids, and equipment. This sigil, according to the text, could be broken down into several smaller ones, but combined together like this, it meant just one thing. A word. A name.
Gehenna.
Hell.
Lola rubbed her scars, tracing the lines of countless spells cast, immeasurable energy drained and used. She’d cast spells for self-confidence, spells of attraction. Spells for good luck, spells for decision-making. Once she’d spent almost twenty-four hours casting a spell that wove together blood and fire magic to help a client take revenge on her rapist. That was dark magic, made of dark intent no matter how worthy the cause. That was the only time she’d broken the “harm none” rule, and she didn’t regret it. That was the kind of magic the Choir thought was just the tip of the iceberg with Lola. It was the hardest spell she’d ever worked, the grayest, and absolutely the most satisfying.
It was nothing compared to this sigil and what it meant.
Gehenna. There was only one reason, the book stated, that you would write this symbol as part of a spell, and that was to open a doorway. Write it in freshly-spilled blood and you weren’t just opening it, you were kicking it down. With someone else’s freshly-spilled blood…
Lola set the book down, stomach churning. She had to tell Yvette.
But what could Yvette do? This was way outside the Choir’s comfort zone. Fuck that, it was outside Lola’s comfort zone. This was bigger than elemental magic, bigger than blood magic, and bigger than motive Lola could have guessed at.
This was demonology.
Murder was just the beginning.

The Complete Underground series price bannerBook Title: The Complete Underground Series

Genre(s): Science Fiction Romance, Futuristic Romance, Dystopian Romance, GLBT Romance

Blurb:  In the future, deception runs deep and betrayal can come from anyone. Will the rebels defeat Planet Core and love freely again, or end up fighting for their lives?

  • What’s your book about?

The Underground series is about a group of rebels who band together to bring down the corporation, Planet Core, that runs the city. They are fighting for their freedom to live and love.

  • Where did you get the idea for this book?

The first story in the series, Never Gonna Let You Go, was inspired by a story I started in my high school Science Fiction English class. It’s changed a lot since the original, though. And Earth 2, a television show I watched as a kid may have inspired this story a bit, too.

  • What traits and other tidbits do you share with your main character?

That’s a difficult question. There are six main characters in this series, and I share different personality traits with each of them. Loyalty, and standing up for what I believe is right would be two main things I share with many of them.

  • Did any of your inspiration for this book originate in your real life experiences? The Complete Underground series by Jessica E. Subject_500x750

I wouldn’t say my own experiences, but the continuous fight I see many face for equality.

  • Does your book take place in a specific region that would make people take an interest?

The Underground series takes place in the future. While it is very different from our own world, there are some beliefs, flora, and fauna that resembles the way things are now.

  • Do you have another project in the works? If so, what is it?

I have several projects in the works at the moment. I’m writing an F/F space academy story (still untitled) for an anthology that will be out later this year. I’ve also started the third story in my Alien Next Door series, Alien Attraction, plan to finish Always Her Wingman, which I started last year, as well as write the first story in my Alien Generations series, a series about three different generations of female aliens living on Earth.

Excerpt
“Tonight went well.” Will Garrison slumped onto a chair and stared across the empty cavern. All the inhabitants of the Underground safe houses had already returned to their rooms. Other members of the rebellion to the main headquarters under the city. The festive party had provided a temporary reprieve from what was to come.

Tim Harris stood behind him. “Yes, I’d say the evening was a success. The weddings reminded people what we’re fighting for.” He dug his thumbs into Will’s tense back muscles.

He groaned. “God, that feels good.” For the first time in days, he had a minute to sit and rest his aching body. This quiet moment with his lover offered an occasion to fulfill other needs as well. He wished he had more time with Tim, more instances to satisfy his desires, complete his soul. Only a few knew the extent of their relationship, but Tim wasn’t around enough for people to catch them in each other’s arms. After tomorrow, Will planned to tell the world how much he loved Tim.

“You need to relax.” Tim kissed the top of his head. “The leader of the rebellion needs to be in top form.”

“You’re just as much a part of this as I am.” Everything would go down the next day. All of their plans would be put into action at dawn, he and Tim each leading a different team. And by sundown, they’d make sure Benson Malock paid for all the lives he’d ruined and ended. Planet Core would no longer be under his control.

“I still wish you would take a larger group with you, especially Jacobs and Edwards. They just returned from Airondelle, traveled through the portals.”

He sighed, not wanting to have the argument again. They’d made their plans, instructed everyone where to go and what to do. “I know, but I need to keep my party small. You’re supposed to be the distraction so we can sneak in the back door. The more people you have, the better.”

“I only hoped….” Tim tensed behind him, suddenly still.

Will twisted around, grasping his hands. “Don’t worry about tomorrow. Everything will happen exactly as we’ve planned. In the evening, we’ll be celebrating again. Our victory.” He wrapped his arms around Tim, kissing his hard lips. A moan escaped, hunger rushing through his veins.

“But let’s forget about that for tonight.” He needed to be reminded of his purpose for fighting, too. Freedom. Freedom for the people, and freedom to love whomever he wanted.

Tim stroked the front of his pants. He hardened under his touch, aching with need. Bulge pressing against an open palm, Will craved the warm physique of his lover. So much time had passed since they’d last been intimate. Even with Tim’s return from Airondelle as their medic three days earlier, they’d had no time alone, due to their hasty preparations to attack Planet Core. His intense longing left him vulnerable, thinking unclearly. He needed a release to purge his mind, regain focus. And by the hard lines on his lover’s face, so did Tim.

Gripping the edges of the cotton material, he pulled the medic’s tunic over his head and untied the rope holding his pants up, releasing his thick sex. A deep grunt echoed through the room. He ran his hands down Tim’s strong arms, across the hardened planes of his chest. A figure any man would be jealous of, and one he never wanted to stop touching. “God, I’ve missed you.”

Pressing against his lush mouth, he sucked in his bottom lip. Tim’s erection pushed on his own. Sweet heavens. He longed to spin him around, shove him against the wall, and fuck him until he burst. Instead, he dropped to his knees and gripped his lover’s cock, running his thumb along the slick slit.

Tim quivered under his touch. “And I’ve missed you, too.” He leaned back, thrusting his stiff dick toward him.

Teasing his swollen head with his tongue, Will tasted his lover’s salty fluid. A flavor he could never get enough of. And after they took down Planet Core the next day, he could have his fill whenever he wanted. He wouldn’t have to hide his love for another man.

Gripping his lover’s velvety flesh, he swallowed him whole.

Moon Bound by Michaela Rhua ~ “Girl to the Rescue” ~ #Lesbian #Paranormal @MichaelaRhua @EvernightPub

Girl To The Rescue.

I love a girl who can kick ass and stand up for herself. It has probably got to do something to do with trying hard to make my own decisions and step out from everyone’s expectations.

But then when you’re a shifter who catches an unusual scent in the air a moonlit night, you have to go and find out where it leads. In Misty’s case it leads to Sofya and the chemistry between these two lead them to seek each other out for some night-time action of the intimate kind!

Blurb:
Under the glare of the full moon, friends and foes alike meet their destiny…

Wolf shifter Misty never thought she would rescue a damsel in distress, but when she stumbles across a bloodied girl on her run, she has to act fast. An action she ought to regret when that girl turns out to be Were shifter, and thus an enemy of her pack.

Feelings cannot be denied, however, and when she meets Sofya again, the girls give into their attraction for each other.

The path to true love is never smooth and tensions rise further when Sofya’s father is implicated in a shifter death.

Will this news tear the two lovers apart, and turn them into foes or can the moon bind them together to work out the truth?

Excerpt:

“What’s up? You okay?” Misty was confused about why she had suddenly stopped.

“This is weird. I feel connected to you like I want…” Sofya lurched forward, grabbed Misty’s face, and kissed her with such fierce passion that Misty was knocked back to the ground. Sofya’s lips were locked against hers in a way that spoke of possession. Misty was momentarily shocked into a frozen state. She was not usually the submissive one when it came to sex. However, this time, she was happy to go with the flow. Then her mind woke up and she gave her herself a kick in the butt. Get with the program. Misty pulled at Sofya’s thin clothing to get her as naked as she was. Sofya obliged by moving away so Misty could take her vest top off. Underneath were two heavy breasts and curves galore that made Misty’s mouth water. Dotted around Sofya’s body were fading bite marks. Misty gently kissed each one to take away the hurt they had caused. Then she pulled Sofya forward to suck each erect nipple and squeeze and massage those wonderful globes of flesh. Sofya moaned every time Misty sucked her delicious nipples and those little sounds of pleasure made Misty’s pussy tingle.

Sofya grabbed Misty’s hair, pulled her head back and kissed her with animal passion. A low growl came from Misty, who immediately pushed down Sofya’s joggers and grabbed her rounded ass.

Sofya released her mouth.

“I can’t explain this. All I know is that I have to have you right now, right here.” Sofya’s words caused Misty’s pussy to throb with need. She couldn’t believe how she longed to taste Sofya’s clit. Sofya was hot as hell and Misty knew deep down she had wanted her badly, even when she was recovering in hospital.

“Yes.” Misty nodded eagerly at Sofya.

Sofya licked and bit Misty’s nipples to the point of delightful pain. Misty wove her fingers through Sofya’s hair, enjoying the feeling of being pinned down under this luscious beauty. Sofya kissed down Misty’s stomach to her pubic mound and stroked the thin line of hair that went to Misty’s pussy. Gradually Sofya moved her fingers and went lower and lower, teasing Misty’s nether lips open.

“You smell like honey. I wonder if you taste like honey too.” Sofya didn’t wait for a response before she moved down to lick around Misty’s clit, then up and down faster and faster.

Misty spread her legs and rocked her hips to match the pace of Sofya’s tongue.

“Damn you’re good, Sofya. I order you not to stop,” Misty said through heavy breaths.

“Oh demanding, are we now? Well, yes ma’am,” Sofya replied huskily.

Misty’s brain was set to explode as soon as Sofya sucked on her clit whilst two fingers slid into her wetness. Colors danced before Misty’s eyes as Sofya pushed in and out of her. Sofya licked circles around Misty’s clit, then covered her clit with her hot, wet mouth and let her tongue have full reign. Misty was lost and she wasn’t bothered about being found ever again. Her body felt like it was on fire and her heart seemed to be beating out of her chest. When Sofya’s teeth grazed her clit, Misty’s orgasm exploded and her beast screamed into the night.

I Kissed a Girl in Vegas by Scarlet Chastain #Menage #Lesbian @ScarletChastain @EvernightPub

ikissedagirlinvegas1l

Hello Kacey! Thank you for having me over for a visit to share my new release, I Kissed a Girl in Vegas.

  1. A kiss is just a kiss…but is it?

Are there differences between kissing men vs. women? Beyond the obvious, one kiss may give you a case of stubble burn and the other may result in a touch of lipstick on your teeth, the answer is yes. Men and women have different feelings about kissing and therefore have different techniques. Men generally think of kissing on a physical level, while women are more intimate and emotional. Many men think of kissing as a necessary activity to get to something more (hello: sex). It’s the old first base, second base, round to third and score mentality. Women, on the other hand, share a kiss to enhance a relationship and build intimacy.

Which is better? You decide. If you’re in the mood for both, check out I Kissed a Girl in Vegas. There’s kissing in it. xoxo

  1. I kissed a girl and I think liked it. I’m not alone, check out my Top Five famous girl-on-girl kisses:
  1. Was it a dream? Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis share a steamy kiss in Black Swan.
  1. Leave it to Carrie to test her bi-curiousness when Sarah Jessica Parker smooched Alanis Morissette in an episode of Sex and the City.
  1. Madonna knows how to put on a show. She lip-locked Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera onstage at the VMAs.
  1. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair enjoy a hot first kiss (and an even hotter second one) in Cruel Intentions.
  1. My favorite girl on girl kiss? That’s easy. Denise Richards and Neve Campbell’s swimming pool kiss absolutely sizzled in Wild Things.

For more girl-on-girl kisses, and even girl-on-girl-on-guy kissing, check out I Kissed a Girl in Vegas!

  1. Sexy destinations are the perfect backdrop for a romantic story. My last two books, Bella Key and Little Black Dress, were set in Key West and Paris. I loved using the uniqueness of the settings to drive the story forward. For example, Maddie starts her journey to self-discovery at a cute B&B on Bella Key owned by Sunny when she stops for directions. Giselle teaches Jamie to speak French during visits to a sidewalk café in Paris in Little Black Dress.

Las Vegas is the backdrop of the first book in my new series, I Kissed a Girl. It’s the perfect setting for Tessa Walker to fulfill her secret fantasy. Want a peek? Here’s the opening of I Kissed a Girl in Vegas…

I kissed a girl.

My arrow doesn’t point straight like a stick of uncooked spaghetti. Nope. It curves in beautiful shapes and colors, like strokes of paint on an artist’s canvas. Let’s face it, you can’t always choose what turns you on. I know because I’ve tried, damn it.

Take Nathan, for example. He was the textbook perfect catch. Good job, great dresser, polite, and hey, he seemed to like me a lot. My friends were already fighting over the maid of honor position in our wedding because on the surface we were the perfect couple. And we were…except in bed. It wasn’t as though I didn’t give it the old college try, either. Shit, I deserved an Academy Award for the act I put on during sex with Nathan. My moans, fingernail digs, passionate kisses, deep breaths and even a few name screams, were as much for my own benefit as his.

You see, I wanted to love Nathan. I wanted to love sex with Nathan. I wanted to meet my girlfriends for drinks and share my own earth shattering orgasm stories. After all, I’ve heard more of their stories than I care to remember. Sadly, the only breath-catching Os going on in my apartment happened solo when my arrow was free to bend in a different direction, to a fantasy I never dared to share. The fantasy where…well, why don’t I start at the beginning…when I kissed a girl.

  1. Did you watch the Super Bowl halftime show? I was super-excited to see Katy Perry perform I Kissed a Girl with Lenny Kravitz. After all, the song inspired my new series, I Kissed a Girl.

The pop lyrics are fun, but do you remember how controversial they were when the song was released in 2008. Katy tells W Magazine, “It was a bit radical to sing about bisexuality, but it was a topic that was on the tip of everybody’s tongue. And even though it was ‘I kissed a girl, and I liked it, and that’s what I like to do sometimes,’ I sang it with a wink. It may be a fun little pop song, but sometimes fun little pop songs most clearly express the zeitgeist.”

Katy started a trend. She helped tear down labels and made it acceptable to experiment. Because, as Tessa Walker says in the opening of I Kissed a Girl in Vegas, “Let’s face it. You can’t always choose what turns you on.”

Here’s a fun fact about Katy’s I Kissed a Girl lyrics: Did you ever wonder why she sings about Cherry Chapstick instead of watermelon, strawberry, or grape? Sure it sounds the best but there’s another reason. Cherry Chapstick = Lady Bits

I Kissed a Girl in Vegas (I Kissed a Girl, 1) by Scarlet Chastain

Blurb:
Tessa Walker’s business trip takes her to one of the poshest hotels on the Vegas Strip. Nursing a break-up, she can use of weekend of fun and sun. Little does she know, her pool cabana mate is none other than famous chef and restaurateur, Gianna Lucini, who introduces her to the world of great food and forbidden passion.

Life as a jet-set chef isn’t all it’s cracked up to be for Gianna. Like her restaurants, she insists on control in the bedroom and her tastes run anything but plain vanilla. She’s ready to give up on love until Tessa serves up an offer Gianna can’t turn down.

Excerpt:
“Mark has another talent you’re sure to enjoy. I’m going to take over for him so he can show you. Just keep an open mind and let yourself go, Tessa.” Her slow words mesmerized me as her strong fingers took over and Mark let go. Her hands were small and soft in comparison to his. Gianna’s fingers traveled across my shoulder blades, loosening tight muscles along the way. I grabbed the edge of the table and slid my chair back a few inches. “Relax,” Gianna whispered. Mark moved to my side and casually leaned against the table. He picked up my hand and rubbed small circles around the sensitive area where my thumb met my palm.

“You have a hard time letting go. Don’t you, Tessa?” he asked.

I took a deep breath and reached for my glass of wine, hoping it’d provide much needed liquid courage. Mark grabbed my other hand before it could capture the wineglass.

“You don’t need that to relax. Let me help you.” His graveled voice rumbled its way through my body and stoked the heat settling low in my belly.

My chair suddenly moved out further and he stepped between my knees, facing me. His gaze moved from me to above my head where Gianna stood. She continued her ministrations on my tight muscles. Mark smiled and his gaze moved back to me. His fingers rubbed the inside of my palm in unison with Gianna’s hands at my shoulders. I’d never had two people touching me in this way before. Every cell of my body stood at attention. Like the rhythm of a gentle ocean, their hypnotic caresses washed away any lingering insecurity.

Waves of pleasure coursed through my body in the secluded room smack in the middle of one of the busiest hotels in Vegas. I should’ve been embarrassed by the attention. I should’ve got up and walked away. Things like that don’t happen to me. However, my ass might as well have been crazy-glued to the chair, because I wasn’t moving. The tablecloth brushed over my bare legs as Mark let go of one of my hands and his fingers brushed my thigh. He lowered his muscled body to his knees as Gianna gathered my hair into a ponytail. Her fingers raked through my scalp while Mark’s fingers drew imaginary lines from my knee to high on the inside of my thigh and back again. I swallowed hard as my pulse quickened. I was sure Gianna could see how fast my heart was beating when she pulled my hair and coaxed my face upward to meet her stare.

She smiled down at me. “I want you to clear your mind and just enjoy the moment. Can you do that for me?”

I nodded and closed my eyes. A flash of pain gripped my scalp as Gianna tightened her hold on my hair. My eyelids flew open and I met her crystal-blue gaze that was the color of a Caribbean ocean.

“Be here with me, Tessa. Don’t escape into yourself. I want your eyes on me, or Mark. Believe me, it will make the experience incredible.”

I nodded again and she loosened the grip she had on my hair. Mark’s tongue had replaced his fingers and he left a warm, wet trail on the inside of my thigh. He released my other hand and both of his hands were making their way up the tops of my thighs and under my short skirt.

Gazing at me, his eyes burned hot and he shot me a grin. “Lift up a little, sweetheart.”

I did as he asked and my lacy underwear was quickly swept from me, losing my shoes in the process. His palms cupped my knees, nudging them farther apart. A wave of insecurity washed over me as his gaze shifted to my sex.

“Remember what I said. Relax and enjoy.” Gianna’s voice filled my ear.
