Blurb:

During the day, she’s in charge—at night, he’ll take command of her body, their desires…

Dominance and discipline. Alexandra hungers for both from Daniel, the lead engineer on her Alaskan energy project. She imagines him punishing then mounting her while his team watches. Full-figured, Alexandra hasn’t had much luck with guys, especially ones so potently male. To change that, she invites Daniel to teach her submission to his most carnal needs. She also invites his men.

For too long, Daniel’s craved Alexandra’s lush figure and smarts. However, she’s his boss, it’s not wise to mix business with pleasure, and no damn way does he intend to share her. After one lusty night of her submitting to him and his men, Daniel claims Alexandra as his sub. On his terms. No regrets. No strings.

Yeah, right.

Tell that to their hearts.

Inside scoop: Alexandra and Daniel set things on fire with a brief ménage. Lucky girl has several men to fulfill her needs!

Excerpt:
Daniel fingered the hem of her tee. “This comes off now.”

Without waiting for direction, Nat lifted Alexandra’s arms above her head, holding them there. Daniel inched the soft tee past her tummy and the waistband of her boxers, her navel, torso, bra. His cock stirred at the delicate blue color of her lingerie. Dainty lace and flowers embellished the sheer fabric that barely hid her nipples. Her areolas were more of a strawberry tint than a pale pink, much as he’d imagined.

Something inside him shifted, bringing everything into sharper focus, electrifying the moment. He ran his fingers up her creamy torso, so silky and hot his breathing grew strained. Her tummy trembled. She pushed to her toes.

With his hand on her shoulder, Nat eased her back down.

Daniel pulled off her tee and tossed it aside. The swells of her breasts trembled with her small snatches of air. “Keep her still,” he said to Nat.

“You got it.” Again, he held Alexandra’s arms behind her back.

Her skin flushed.

Daniel wasn’t certain if her reaction was from anticipation or embarrassment. If she’d only pretended to be an old hand at this and tonight was her first time at kink.

He should have asked, but didn’t. She knew how to stop what was coming. All she had to do was speak out. If she did, he’d leave her alone even if it killed him.

Until then…

He worked the front clasp of her bra. A whimper poured from Alexandra, followed by her soft moan. She pulled her shoulders forward.

If she’d done that to hide herself, it hadn’t worked, increasing her cleavage instead. Fueling his desire.

With Nat still holding her wrists, Daniel took full advantage. Unclasping her bra, pushing both cups to the sides, exposing her breasts.

Jesus.

She straightened in what might have been surprise, which pushed her boobs closer to Daniel.

He wasn’t about to complain. The warm air in here did nothing to smooth her nipples. They were tight with her arousal. He longed to cup them in his palms, but held back, not wanting to rush this. Alexandra needed to experience her nudity and submission fully.

He spoke to Red and Junior. “Lower her boxers and underwear.” Turning to her, Daniel smiled. “That is, if you wore any.”

The color in her cheeks couldn’t have been higher. Still, she offered a negligent shrug, defiant again as though she needed to prove she was a badass. “I did.”

“Yeah? You won’t have it on for long.” He stepped back and crossed his arms over his chest.

With the skill of well-rehearsed porno stars, Red dropped to Alexandra’s right side, Junior to her left.

Nat kissed her neck again.

This time, Alexandra didn’t notice him in the least. Her attention remained riveted to the other men. They slipped their fingers beneath her elastic waistband and dragged the boxers to her mound, then over it, pushing the garment down her thighs. The boxers dropped to the top of her shaggy boots.

Daniel’s throat constricted. Her bikini panties were the same blue as her bra, the fabric as sheer, and showed him something he couldn’t quite believe. Red also stared.

Forgetting himself, Junior whistled.

Alexandra moaned. Nat was back at it, suckling her neck. He had her attention for a split second, until Red pulled on the right side of her panties, Junior the left, lowering them. The fabric clung briefly to her slit, proving how wet she was. It clearly excited the young men and wasn’t doing Daniel’s health any good. If his heart thudded any harder, it’d burst.

Tugging faster, Red and Junior pulled her panties down.

They got the underwear to the middle of Alexandra’s thighs before they stopped at the same time.

Daniel moved closer, no longer able to resist the wonder of what he saw. She had a tat above her mound. Delicate leaves etched into her pale skin along with two tiny butterflies fluttering above them, the design in a stunning blend of blue, white, and black.

That wasn’t the end of it. Her pussy was smooth, nothing but endless skin, the same as the day she’d been born.

Damn. Alexandra Waite was an enigma Daniel hadn’t expected. In all the times he’d seen her on the job, she’d always worn her hair in a braid, no makeup, her clothing no different from his. Who would have guessed it hid these delights?

#TakeaPeek at Seduced by the Daredevil by Jorja Lovett #Ebook #Romance @JorjaLovett @EvernightPub

sbtdaredevilThanks for hosting me today, and sharing in the release day madness! Seduced by the Daredevil went on sale from 4th September and is a bit of a departure from my usual style. It started life as a medical romance, but there are definitely moments of rom com in there, as you can see from the excerpt…

Blurb
Sparks fly when ‘Miss Stuffy Knickers’ Andrea Bolan meets her match in daredevil Matt King. There’s nothing quite like a passionate kiss to motivate a girl to jump off a building in the name of charity. With her inhibitions left far behind she begins to see the benefits of no-strings fun and sets her sights on her sexy abseiling instructor, but things don’t go exactly to plan.

Adrenaline junkie Matt fights his demons by living his life on the edge and an uptight dietitian definitely isn’t his usual type. But, when they’re thrown together at work there’s no denying the chemistry. Lust is easy for him to deal with, but he doesn’t do commitment.

A sizzling affair catches them both by surprise but if they’re not careful their pasts might just cost them any chance of future happiness.

Excerpt

Matt was eternally grateful he had bought the apartment close by, overlooking the River Lagan. He had enough trouble keeping his hands off Andrea for the duration of the five-minute journey. Small talk with a driver in no obvious hurry was the last thing he wanted, with seduction on his mind. He held it together until they pulled up outside the apartment block.

“Cheers, mate.” He threw a few notes through the window and pulled a giggling Andrea from the passenger seat.

Lust fuelled their journey and they half-ran to the entrance of the exclusive new complex. The few steps leading to his front door were taken in such a frenzied rush to reach their destination that Andrea stumbled on those impossibly high heels.

“Are you okay?” On autopilot, he knelt down to her crumpled position on the step and carefully removed her shoe to check for any swelling.

“I’m fine.” She giggled again and held up the broken heel of her shoe.

“Thank goodness that’s the only casualty,” he said, and swept her, and the broken stiletto, up into his arms to carry her the rest of the way. With one hand fiddling with the lock and the other cradling Andrea close to him, who said men couldn’t multitask?

Once inside, he set her back onto her feet and closed the door shut with the force of his body pinning hers against it. He wanted her naked, and that damn sweater which had teased him all day needed to go. Andrea didn’t resist when he lifted it to reveal the bounty beneath, but tugged at his T-shirt in response until pressing his naked skin to hers became as necessary as breathing. He impatiently hiked her top higher to strip her completely of it.

“Hold on a sec.” Andrea’s muffled voice came from the tangle of blue wool wedged around her head. He yanked until her head popped free, leaving that once-silky hair a veritable bird’s nest.

“That’s better,” she said. “Now you.”

He broke contact to get rid of the barrier, and those few seconds let him drink in the sight of her. In a white bra and jeans, hair mussed, and lips swollen from his tending, she was a far cry from the priss-miss he’d first encountered.

Man, what a turn-on.

The rapid rise and fall of her chest mesmerized him, but restrictive cotton denied him the full effect of her voluptuous cleavage. Eager to free her from all conservative binds, his fingers sought to unhook the fastening of her bra. A well-rehearsed tug and flick failed to open the catch, and he distracted her with a passionate kiss while he worked on it. First with one hand, then with two, he pushed and pulled to no avail.

Finally, he had to admit defeat. “I can’t get this bloody thing open, Andie.”

Resisting the urge to rip it off, Matt waited while she reached to undo it herself. She whipped her underwear off to release her pert breasts into view, and slung it in his direction. The bra catapulted directly into his face, the tail end popping him in the eye. Instinctively he clutched his eye and stifled a verbal wince.

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Through a watery haze, he saw her hand fly to her mouth in horror.

“Don’t worry, Andie. It’s not your fault.” He tried to blink back the watery sting to ease her guilt, but full apology mode had already kicked in.

“That was a stupid thing to do. I don’t know what I was thinking.”

His one good eye saw her bend to retrieve the makeshift weapon. She stood up and accidentally head-butted him between the legs, his groin suffering the next hit. His tongue nearly didn’t make it either, he bit it so hard to stop from crying out. The crippling agony doubled him in two and he fought to breathe through it. When, oh when, had his tried and tested methods of seduction turned into a comedy of errors?

“Why don’t we take this somewhere safer? Like the bedroom?” he asked in shallow bursts amid ragged breaths.

Andrea placed a self-conscious arm across her chest and limped to his bedroom, one foot shoeless and the other wobbling on a stiletto. He followed when the ache down below receded enough to allow movement.

Excerpt:
My favorite color.
Amelie stared up at the yellow-gold satin fringe of the canopy on the four-poster.
“Beautiful, is it not?” The woman stood near the balcony doors. Her French was soft and seductive. Her face was in profile as she stared out at the black night. There was a single bedside lamp on and shadows clung to every corner but Amelie remembered those auburn curls tumbling down the woman’s back. “Everything in this manse is beautiful.”
Amelie glanced at the canopy fringe again and tried to form an answer, but no words came out. She wanted to see the woman’s face, and leaned up on her elbows. There was a dull ache between her eyes but she was more interested in the woman.
The wind whipped at the balcony windowpanes as the woman stared into the dark.
The balcony doorknob rattled.
Amelie drew her eyes away from the windy night and whispered in French, “I am Amelie.” She cleared her throat, which was as smooth as sandpaper.
“Welcome.” There was amusement in the greeting. High cheekbones lifted with a smile.
She did not want to seem ignorant of the fact that Roman was married if indeed he was, and so she waited. The woman did not introduce herself and she would not look away from the howling night. The wind at the panes reminded Amelie of the lashing waves in her dreams…
“Hello, sleeping beauty.” Roman came through the bedroom door with a tray. He placed it on the nightstand. “You must have just woken. I brought you water.”
“Oh, thank you.” She sat up against the pillows and took the proffered glass. She drank half of it before he took the glass from her.
“Not too much. How are you feeling?”
“Fine. I was just talking to…” She glanced at the balcony doors, and blinked to clear her head. The woman was gone. The doorknob no longer rattled and the night was calm.
“Talking to whom?”
Amelie pointed to the double doors. “She was standing right there.”
“Anne?”
“No, a young woman. French. In a…some sort of dressing gown, I guess.”
“Caroline in a dressing gown? She’s much fonder of starched linen.”
“Your wife?”
“Not in this lifetime.” He chuckled. “The live-in maid.” He walked to the wall and turned the light switch on. “She’s not here now, and she’s not French.”
It was not a room she lay in, but a large suite. Yellow-gold satin covered the walls and English primroses the same hue adorned a table by the balcony window. On a far wall, a sofa and two chairs sat before a fire crackling behind a wrought iron grate. She hadn’t noticed it before; her attention had been on the woman, and the wind.
“What am I doing in here?”
He sat down on the comforter. “You were looking at one of the portraits in the gallery and fainted straight away. Not exactly the way I planned to sweep you off your feet.”
“I am sorry for the inconvenience.”
“The pleasure was all mine.” He grinned and pressed the back of his hand to her forehead.
“You’re not feverish. Have you been ill?”
“No, I…I guess I’m just tired.” She could not explain what had happened to her.
Fearing a confession would leap from her throat in her agitated state, she shut her mouth.
“Are you sure? I should call Dr. Latham…”
“No, please, I’m fine.” She turned on her deal-closer smile that worked so well in the city. However, she didn’t feel anything had closed. She had the distinct impression a door had just opened. To what, she did not know. At least she was here in England. In her dream house. She would find answers to her questions now.

#TakeaPeek at Rock the Wolfe from @KarynGerrard

cover

One of my FAVE covers this year!! ~ Kacey

What inspired me to write Rock the Wolfe? I had no plans to do another rock star hero, but I was reading on-line about a Canadian singer I like, Mathew Good, (Alternative rock singer, had the Matthew Good Band 1995-2002, now solo) and his struggles with anxiety and how they affected his professional life. A plot idea took root and in no time at all I had pounded out a short story with my own Canadian rocker. I can safely say this is my last rock star hero, I got it out of my system. 🙂 I love immersing myself into the story as I write, the characters really come alive. Kerri and Wolfe certainly did in this story. ~~Karyn

Blurb:
He’s desperate for a break…

After a difficult year in the classroom, elementary school teacher Kerri Coleson is close to the breaking point. All she wants is a quiet summer to regroup and refresh. Vacationing alone at the old family homestead,  she never expected to meet a burnt out rock star or discover that he might be the man of her dreams…

He’s desperate for her…
Following the bust-up of his group and the dissolution of his marriage, rock star Wolfe Phalen’s world has been turned upside down. Though intrigued by Kerri’s lush curves, nurturing personality, and sensual response to his touch, the last thing he wants is a romantic entanglement…

Kerri may rock Wolfe’s world, but will she rock his heart and soul?

Excerpt:
So much for a walk today.
A distant rumble of thunder boomed across the horizon. The rain fell in torrents from the gray, cloudy sky. Wolfe stood on Kerri’s veranda, the hood up on his sweatshirt. He could have called and canceled, but realized he didn’t have her cell number. Cold, stinging rain lashed his cheeks as he waited for her to answer.
She opened the door and a gust of rain-laden wind caught her square in the face. She gasped and then began to laugh. The light, feminine sound cracked through the barrier around his heart. It was if the clouds had parted and the sun shone down on them both. Jesus, where had that romantic drivel come from? If it had happened to Janice, she would have screamed and railed on and on about getting wet. Kerri laughed. A sharp difference, and a welcome one.
She stepped back, allowing him to enter. After closing the door, Wolfe bracketed her face with his hands and swiped the cold moisture away from her flushed cheeks. As he lay gentle kisses where the rain had been, he heard a soft moan escape her parted lips.
The slight hold he had on his control slipped away. Capturing the moan with his mouth, he kissed her with hunger he had not known existed within him. The cold, clinging dampness of his clothes dissipated as the heat level grew between them. He backed her against the wall and let his hands explore her ample curves. Rotating his hips, he let her feel everything that pulsed and vibrated through his entire body.
For the first time in months, he felt alive. Potent. Emotions he had not had in ages, and a few he could not identify, rocked him hard.
The depth of her response ramped up his desire even more. Kerri rubbed against him, her breath hitching in short gasps in between the desperate kisses.
“Is it terrible I brought condoms?” he whispered.
“Oh, God. No. Not terrible. I like a man who plans for every contingency.”
Laughing, he leaned in and kissed her. “Where? Upstairs?”
“I have a fire going in there.” She pointed to the living room.
Sex in front of a fire. Perfect.
