Mid Week Tease: “Let’s pretend for tonight that what if doesn’t exist.” #MWTease

This week’s tease comes from my WIP (work in progress), first draft. Currently untitled. An older woman/younger guy premise.

Justice moved up behind Lea beside the bed, inhaling her sweet scent mixed with sunscreen and strawberry shampoo.
“You’re the most beautiful woman in the world. To me. I wish you could see yourself as I do.”
He lifted his hands, cupping her shoulders, massaging the tension. She sighed, lowering her head, as if enjoying the attention.
“It would be so easy to fall in to your arms and forget everything else. But, Justice,” her voice was soft and low, at almost a whisper, but he heard the indecisiveness and the deep-rooted hunger underlying her words. “I don’t throw caution to the wind. And you could have any woman in the world. I’m just a old house wife who–”
He pulled her back in tight against his chest. Pressing his lips to her neck, he kissed his way up and down her skin. She relaxed in his arms, her breathing quick and rough.
Lifting his head, he spoke directly in her ear. “I don’t want to be with anyone else. No one else exists right now. You and me. Here and now. Needing one another, desperate to be together. I feel the tension in your body, but,” He raked his teeth along her neckline, and watched her hands bawl into fists against her belly. “Damn it, I feel your need, too. But I won’t push you. Tell me to go.” He wrapped his hands around hers. “Tell me to go and I will. But don’t think I’ll give up.”
Justice waited. Holding her in his arms, his dick ready to burst and his heart thumping to capacity, he sent up a silent prayer she wouldn’t say no.
“You’re right,” Lea let out a breathless sigh. “I don’t want there to be anyone else here. Just you and me. But what if–”
“Let’s pretend for tonight that what if doesn’t exist.”

  4. Oh, yeah, I like his style and his determination, Kacey. I did find one typo if you wanted to catch it before final edits “I’m just a old house wife who–” should be “I’m just AN old house wife who–” Nice tease. 🙂
